Queues really have nothing to do with anything that I'm about to say, other than that they are both kind of pieces of information. Lots of news is coming though! Prepare yourselves! TIME FOR A DEEP BREATH. DO IT. I'M DOING IT. NOW YOU.Iiiiiiiiiiiii got into Honors College! I actually found this out around Valentine's Day but have been crazy busy and haven't had time to do things I really want to do, like blog more often. I am super duper excited to be a part of the honors program at my college of choice. I have some friends from the Washington Youth Tour who were also accepted, and also a few acquaintances from my high school. I won't be alone in my new adventure. I'm really ready for college. I've calculated price several times based on last year's rates, and end up with a surplus of money of approximately 2k providing that my federal and state grant money comes through. That's freaking almost 40% of my financial aid, which is kind of horrifying when you think about it. I really hope Kentucky doesn't go broke anytime soon.... Piece of news number two! (I really like these titles- I should use them more.)I went to a new doctor today, and was really surprised by how much I liked her. She was really personable, listened to me, and didn't talk at me. She asked good questions and was really knowledgeable. I even let her get blood work. Yes, I, the needle-a-phobe (I know there's a word: I'm lazy), actually willingly as a consenting adult who filled out proper paperwork all by herself, allowed a very nice Indian nurse who was completely fantastic to take approximately four vials of blood for testing. This clinic was in a new place and I was kind of nervous, especially since I didn't know if New Doctor had any experience with my disease of (not) choice.... but everything turned out well! Have some specifics and medical details below, along with revelations about person choice etc.
